Why do I find it increasingly difficult to find some table lamps I actually like?

Still here!
Whew.
So much going on in such a short period of time, it's unbelievable!
We nursed Peyton back to health, although she wasn't 100% on Easter Sunday. She's finally back to normal, though.
Denny and I spent the better part of last weekend in Home Depot (Spring Black Friday Sale? Stop, I die.). Also spent a lot of time outside sanding, priming, and otherwise working on all these fandangled pieces of furniture I scored. Sanding and priming. Sanding and priming. After we pack up some of Peyton's room tonight I have every good intention of posting our progress with a step by step tutorial on how it goes. I'm not really sure I can call it a tutorial, though, since I am making no guarantees it'll turn out correctly. One can hope, though, and I have tons of photos to share so it's going to happen.
I also scored a gigantic wooden buffet for our dining room this past weekend from Craigslist for $40. Looks like another project is in the works after the end tables and the coffee table.
This table caught my eye on Target's website a couple of weeks ago:
I procrastinated ordering it and now it's out of stock. I called Target and pleaded with them that they tell me when it'll be back in stock and they couldn't give me a date. So I'm stuck checking the website every day. They have one in an espresso/tabacco finish, but it's NOT THE SAME.
Can you believe we're moving in 16 days?! Me neither.
